SLR Camera

SLR Camera
A SLR camera typically uses a mirror and prism system (hence "reflex", from the mirror's reflection) that permits the photographer to view through the lens and see exactly what will be captured, contrary to viewfinder cameras where the image could be significantly different from what will be captured.

The SLR camera has a Film stock, which is an analog medium that is used for recording motion pictures or animations. It is a strip or sheet of transparent plastic film base coated on one side with a gelatin emulsion containing microscopically small light-sensitive silver halide crystals. The sizes and other characteristics of the crystals determine the sensitivity, contrast and resolution of the film.

Lorenzo Vitturi dalston anatomy

Lorenzo Vitturi wanted to capture a place, he used the Ridley Road market. He made a sculpture out of fruit. The advantages and disadvantages of Vitturi's approach is that the sculpture are all rotting and mouldy. Lorenzo Vitturi has been combining the two images and made one big picture so it connects from the photographer to the person who watches the redeveloped market.

He has called the exhibition Dalston Anatomy because he's from Dalston and Anatomy means the 'BODY' of something. So he combined them both to make a deeper meaning.

Sam Berkson's poetry connects to the photos he took and the different fruits, less animals etc., which describes the images , he also read the poem so he could understand.
Vittri personal comments, he 'feels' sympathy for the market so it
doesn't die, this shows that the market is dying down so he wants to show it in a different way.

Lorenzo uses art work to express his feelings through poetry. This implies that how you'll feel. Lorenzo Vitturi's photos shows decaying fruits and dripping, which tries to invite you to feel and smell this awful, revolving, rotten food. This symbolises that Vitturi and Berkson connect and combine images. This explains how you'll feel Vitturi's personal comments describes how colourful and detailed his work can be, which means the market was very colourful as well.

These are the pictures I took for our Lorenzo Vitturi trip we all went in oxford street photography's gallery.

DSLR Camera

  • Digital Single Lens Reflect is is a digital camera combining the optics and the mechanisms of a single-lens reflex camera with a digital imaging sensor, as opposed to photographic film.

  • The reflex design scheme is the primary difference between a DSLR and other digital cameras. In the reflex design, light travels through the lens, then to a mirror that alternates to send the image to either the viewfinder or the image sensor. The alternative would be to have a viewfinder with its own lens, hence the term "single lens" for this design. By using only one lens, the viewfinder presents an image that will not perceptibly differ from what is captured by the camera's sensor.

Photogram

A photogram is a picture produced with photographic materials, such as light-sensitive paper, but without a camera.

I took objects from random scrapted paper or newspaper and then i placed into the light  not artificial light, for atleast 5-15 seconds to test out the sample.

Then when i started the real thing for the Photogram light sensitive paper so i placed the paper into the table and then started the project, which i had to start my time with 30 seconds because thats the official time limit for the paper.

Then i started to wait for the paper to develop the light through it so you could see the random papers and the newspapers on the paper. these are my photogram that i did with 4 people, then

LORENZO VITTURI

THIS TOPIC WE HAVE LEARNT THAT LORRENZO VITTURI HAS BEEN SCULPTURING SOME FRUITS TO MAKE SOME CREATIVE AND DIFFERENT COMPOSITIONS IN ARRANGEMENTS. HE HAS BEEN USING ELEMENTS SUCH AS FRUIT THAT IS ROTTING. THE COLOURS THAT ARE VIBRANT AND BRIGHT AND ALSO ITS EYE CATCHY.

ALSO WE HAVE TOOK PICTURES THAT ARE RESONABLE FOR ME AND THAT I REALLY THINK ITS UNIQUE. I WAS INSPIRED BY VITTURI'S PHOTOGRAPHY BECAUSE HOW INNOVATIVE IT CAN BE.

THE MEANING OF HIS WORK WAS TO DESCRIBE HOW "A MARKET" WAS DYING AND HE HAD TO EXPLAIN HOW THE MARKET DECIDED TO ROTT. THIS IS HOW PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD HOW HE WAS CREATING HIS IMAGE.

WE ALSO DID OUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHY BOOTH AND TOOK PICTURE'S OF SOME OF OUR SCULPUTRES. WE ALSO TOOK PICTURES IN DIFFERENT ANGLES TO SEE HOW THE LIGHT IS DARK OR LIGHT OR EVEN SOFT OR HEAVY LIGHT.
